4.1HNBOAMfunctionalarchitecture

ThissectionprovidestheHNBOAMfunctionalarchitecture.Wedistinguishthetwofollowingcases:

∙AHNBisconnectedtoaBBdevice（typicallyaresidentialgatewayprovidingconnectivityviaanaccessproviderdomain）.TheBBdeviceprovidesrouting,NATandfirewallfunctionality.

∙ABBdevicewithanintegratedHNBfunctionality

TheHMSiscomposedofaTR-069managerandafileserver.TheTR069managerimplementstheAuto-ConfigurationServerfunctionasdefinedinTR-069standardandperformsCM,FMandPMfunctionalitiestotheHNB.Thefileservermaybeusedforfileuploadordownload,asinstructedbyTR-069manager

TheinitialHMSmayprovidelocationverificationofHNBandassignsappropriateservingelements（ServingHMS,SecurityGatewayandHNB-GW）.
