Itisthelabyrinth,anenormousmazeofincrediblemandalalike

intricacy.Fromourmagnificentvantagepoint,WEAREBARELYABLETO

MAKEOUTitsdetails:

thetwistingwallsinterruptedhereandthere

bylushforest,thecomplexwebofwaterways,theforbiddingcastle

atthecore.Itisvastandmagical,frighteningandcompellingat

thesametime.Wewouldlovetolinger,perhapsflylowerandgeta

betterlookatthiswondrousplace,butthebirdflieson

GLADE-DAY

Itisanidyllicsetting,warmandinviting.Thelateafternoonsun

washeseverythingwithapinkglow.Betweenthewaterandalineof

lushfruittreesisaflower-strewnglade.AFIGUREemergesfromthe

treesandwalkstowardthewater.ItisaYOUNGWOMANdressedina

flowingwhitedressthatswirlsaroundherinthebreeze.Thepink

lightburnishesherhairandcausesagoldcircletshewearsonher

headtoglow.Sheisbreathtaking,avisionofinnocenceandgrace.

Shestopstopickaflowerandthenturnssuddenlyasifshehas

heardsomething.

GIRL:

Shetakesafewhurriedstepsandthenstops,smilingshyly
