一、模块教学建议
模块主题：
Jobs
语言功能：
描述职业的变化及过去经常进行的活动。
学习任务：
Whatwashebefore?
Whatdidhedo?
Whatishenow?
Whatdoeshedo?
运用任务：
向全班同学介绍自己祖父母退休前的工作情况；让同学看自己父母年轻时的照片并谈论工作的变化情况；调查全班同学父母或叔叔阿姨工作的变化情况并制作学习统计表等等。
模块分析：
Unit1课文呈现Whatdidshedrive?
Shedroveabus.等句型，让学生复习运用一般过去时来描述过去经常进行的活动；同时在活动3中呈现Whatwashebefore?
和Whatishenow?
等句型，让学生用对比的方法描述工作及活动的变化；Unit2呈现Wheredidyourgrandpawork?
Heworkedinanoffice.进一步巩固复习运用一般过去时句型来描述过去经常进行的活动，并通过看图说话和演唱歌曲等活动，培养孩子描述图片和谈论生活情景的语言能力。
二、活动建议
活动1：
做动作、猜职业
在导入新课时，让学生做动作，猜职业。
既可以活跃课堂的气氛，又复习了表示职业的单词。
在学习完对话后，教师可以准备一些有关职业的图片，把学生按男女生分成两组，从两组各抽一个同学到讲台前面向全班同学。
出示准备的图片，如：
Whatwasmygrandpa/grandma？
然后让这两位同学猜，“He/Shewasa…”正确且速度快者获胜。
活动2：
小组调查，完成表格
把学生四人分成一个小组，调查本组成员的爸爸、妈妈、爷爷或奶奶的工作情况，完成下列表格：

活动3：
看照片，自编对话
让学生带一些家里成员的工作照片，鼓励学生根据所学习的知识自编对话，可长可短，可难可易，培养学生运用语言的能力。
