1Scope
ThepresentdocumentspecifiestheAccessStratum(AS)partoftheUEproceduresinRRC_IDLEstate(alsocalledIdlemode)andRRC_INACTIVEstate.Thenon-accessstratum(NAS)partofIdlemodeproceduresandprocessesisspecifiedin[9].
ThepresentdocumentspecifiesthemodelforthefunctionaldivisionbetweentheNASandASinaUE.
ThepresentdocumentappliestoallUEsthatsupportatleastNRRadioAccess,includingmulti-RATUEsasdescribedin3GPPspecifications,inthefollowingcases:
