点此试听Onenight,Mrs.Riley,anelderlywidow,waswalkingalongadark,Londonstreet.Shewascarryingherhandbaginonehandandaplasticcarrierbagintheother.Therewasnobodyelseillthestreetexcepttwoyouths.Theywerestandinginadarkshopdoorway.Oneofthemwasverytallwithfairhair;theotherwasshortandfatwithabeardandmoustache.Theyouthswaitedforafewmoments,andthenranquicklyandquietlytowardsMrs.Riley.Thetallyouthheldherfrombehindwhiletheotheryouthtriedtosnatchherhandbag.Suddenly,Mrs.Rileythrewthetallyouthoverhershoulder.Hecrashedintotheotheryouthandtheybothlandedontheground.Withoutspeaking,Mrs.Rileystruckbothofthemontheheadwithherhandbag,andwalkedcalmlyaway.ThetwosurprisedyouthswerestillsittingonthegroundwhenMrs.Rileycrossedthestreettowardsadoorwithalightedsignaboveit.Mrs.Rileypaused,turnedround,smiledattheyouthsandwalkedintotheSouthWestLondonJudoClub.(Thesceneisinabank.Aclerkissittingbehindthedeskandacustomeriswritingoutacheque.)Clerk:
