Chapter1Introduction
WuxiBaodaTubularGoodsProducingCo.,Ltd.foundedinMarch2001,presentlyhasthreelinesofproducingOilwellpipesandcasing.Itmainlyprocessesoilwellpipes,couplingandpup-jointinallsizeandseveralgradeswithoutsidediameterfromΦ60.3~Φ339.7mm.Annualcapacityisupto80,000tons.ThecompanycarriesoutmanagementaccordingtoISO9001:
2000andAPIQ1standards.Thestrengthofseveralexperiencedspecifictechnologistsprovidesourproductswithpowerfultechnologysupport.
OilwellpipesofBAODAarewidelyusedintheexplorationoflandoilfieldandpipeconvey,beingthesafeanddurableproducts.ToacknowledgethesupporttoWUXIBAODAfrompetroleumindustryandmassusersforyears,maketheproductshavebestperformanceinusesandhelpoilfieldtechniciansknowtheproductsdeeply;wecompiletheBAODAManualinparticular.Usersareadvisedtoreadthemanualcarefullywhenchoose,transport,loadandunload,store,inspectandrepairouroilwellpipes.
OilwellpipesmadebyBAODAaremostlyusedintheprocessofoilfielddevelopmentforthetaskpurposesofoilextraction,fracturing,acidification,affuse,gasinjectionandwellworkover.ThebodystocksofoilwellpipeofBAODAadoptthetechnologiesofelectricsteelmaking,vacuumdegassing,secondarysteelmakingprocesses,whichmakeproductswithequalcomponentandgoodmetallurgyquality.Rollertrioskewrollingand12-frametensionreducingtechnologycanguaranteethegoodshape,highprecisiondimensionandnicemechanicalproperties;finishingandnondestructivetechnology（ultrasonicandeddycurrenttesting）canassuretheexcellentexteriorandinteriorquality;moreover,theparameterofscrewthreadmadebyhighprecisionnumericalcontrollatheis30%stricterthanAPIstandard,whichleavesthepropertiesofanti-threadgluing,anti-slippingandsealabilityuptosetvaluesofAPIstandard.
TheoilwellpipeproductsofBAODAcooperatewithSHANGHAIW.MPrecisionThreadManufacturesCo.,Ltd.,whicharewellsoldinbothdomesticandforeignmarket.TheoilwellpipesarewidelyusedinYanchang,ShengliOilandexportedtoCanada,MiddleEastregions.

Chapter2GuidancetoOilWellPipeSelection
1.1 Introduction
Oilwellpipe,thesolechannelforoilextractionandgasproductionholdasignificantpositionintheexploitationofoilfield.Forrecentyears,wehaveestablishedproductstandard,rulesortechnologicalconditionsforordersupplementwhenemployAPIstandard.Allthestandardsaretoguaranteetheproduction,inspection,transportandqualitycontrolinuse.However,thereisnostandardrecommendedoperationforthechoosingofoilwellpipeservingdiversewelldepth,pressure,temperature,andpurpose.SomeoilwellpipesuptoAPIstandardmayhaveaccidentusually.It’sfarfromsatisfactionthattheproductmerelymeetAPIstandard.Withtheconstantdevelopmentofouroilandgasexploitation,therewillbeplentyofcomplexworkingconditionofwaterinjectionwell、gasinjectionwell、thermalrecoverywell、deepwell、ultra-deepwell、highpressureoilandgasfieldaswellasfracturing,acidification,polymer.Intheseharshworkingconditions,properchooseofoilwellpipeismuchmoreimportant,whichwilldirectlyinfluencetheproductionandbenefitofoilandgaswell.Becauseofthreadgluing、surge、leakage、break、corrosion、fatiguefracturebyselectingtheimproperoilwellpipe,thelossofthemisquitebig.
ThischapteriscompiledaccordingtoAPIstandardandthefielduse,offeringthegeneralprincipleandrecommendedoperationforthechoosingofBAODAoilwellpipeinoilexploitation.However,astothespecificconditionsofwell,therecannotbeforcingchoosingoftheoilwellpipe.Techniciansmustmakedeeperandmorespecificanalysistotheworkingconditionwhenreadingthischapter,soastobetterchooseanduseBAODAoilwellpipe.
