NEBS认证测试用例

1.EnvironmentalTest(GR-63-CORE)

1.1.Temperature,Humidity,andAltitudeCriteria

Thissectionprovidescriteriaandtestmethodsfortemperature,humidity,andaltituderobustnessofnetworkequipment.

ØThecriteriacoverthefollowing:

•Transportationandstorageenvironments

•Operatingtemperatureandhumidityenvironments

•Altitude

•Heatdissipation

•Equipmentairflow

ØEquipmentmaybetestedinthefollowingconfigurations:

•Frame-level—Afully-loadedequipmentframeorframes,orasingleequipmentshelfmorethan36inchesinheight.

•Shelf-level—Asingleequipmentshelflessthanorequalto36inchesinheight.

1.GeneralTestingRequirements

Duringtheoperationalteststheequipmentshalloperate,usingasmanyfunctionsasdeemedpractical.Forthenon-operatingtests,theequipmentshallbetestedforoperabilitybeforeandaftereachtest.

Theoperationalstateoftheequipmentshallsimulatetheconfigurationforactualserviceconditions.Thecriteriaforassessingfunctionalityshallbeincludedinawrittentestplan.Thecriteriadependontheserviceprovidedbytheequipmentbeingtested,andaredeterminedbyapplyingappropriateTelcordiagenericcriteria,or,ifnoneexists,bythesupplier'sorpurchaser’sperformancespecifications.

Alltestsshallbeconductedinathermalchambercapableofproducingthetemperatureandhumidityconditionsgiveninthetestprocedure.Foroperationaltestsonproductscooledbyforcedair,thethermalchambervolumeshouldbeatleast5timesthevolumeoftheequipmentundertest.Foroperationaltestsonproductscooledbynaturalconvection,thethermalchambervolumeshallbeatleast5timesthevolumeoftheequipmentundertest,andtheairflowneartheequipmentspaceshallnotexceed1m/second.Chamberairflowvelocitycanbeassessedpriortoinsertionofequipmentundertest.

Temperatureandhumiditysensorsshallbecalibratedfortherangesoftemperatureandhumidityexpectedduringthetest,andshallbecapableofmeasuringwithsufficientaccuracytoensurethetolerancesintheprocedurearesatisfied.

Allpowering,interfacing,andmonitoringequipmentthatisnotpartoftheequipmentbeingtestedshouldbelocatedoutsidethechamber.

2.Tolerances

Unlessotherwisespecified,thetemperatureshallbemaintainedwithin±3°C,andtherelativehumiditywithin±3%.Dwelltimedurationsspecifiedintestmethodsareminimumsandmaybeextended.

3.AmbientTemperature/RelativeHumidity

Unlessotherwisespecified,ambienttemperatureisdefinedasatemperaturebetween20°C(68°F)and30°C(86°F)andambientrelativehumidityisdefinedtobearelativehumiditybetween5%-85%.

4.TemperatureGradient

Inthethermaltestsbelow,themaximumcoolinggradientisspecifiedat30°C/hr(54°F/hr).Themaximumheatinggradientisspecifiedat96°C/hr(173°F/hr).Thermalchambersshallbecapableofachievingthisgradientoverthespecifiedtemperaturerange.

5.TestReport

Awrittentestreportshallverifythatthetestwasconductedproperlyandthattheequipmentfunctionalitywasmaintained.Thetestreportshallincludeadescriptionofthetestchamberintermsoftheappropriaterequirementsandobjectives,andshallincorporatethefollowinginformation:

•Sketchesorphotosofthetestconfiguration

•Adescriptionoftheequipmentundertestandtheserviceitprovides

•Thecriteriaforassessingfunctionality,includingtherequiredfunctionalityatboththenormalandshort-termoperatingconditionsforoperatingtemperatureandhumiditytests.

NOTE:

Foroperatingtemperatureandrelativehumiditytesting,coreorcriticalfunctionsmustbemaintainedattheshort-termoperatingconditions.Anydesignedreductioninequipmentfunctionalityattheshort-termoperatingconditionsmustbejustifiedinthetestreport.Fullequipmentfunctionalitymustself-restorewhenthetemperatureorhumidityreturntothenormalrange.

•Alltemperatures(includinginternalequipmenttemperatures),humidityconditions,andfunctionalitydata(includinganycalculations)

•Adescriptionofanyhardwareorsoftwarefailures,plusalistofallreplacementsthatweremade,ifany.

1.1.1.TransportationandStorageEnvironmentalCriteria

Duringtransportationorinstorage,equipmentmaybeexposedtoextremesinambienttemperatureandhumidity.Thecriteriainthissectionapplytoequipmentinitsnormalshippingcontainer.Aftertheequipmentisexposedtothegivenenvironment,itisreturnedtoambient,unpackagedandoperated.Conformanceisbasedontheequipment’sabilitytooperateasintendedwhenreturnedtoambientconditions.

Theequipmentdoesnotoperateduringthesetests,butappropriatefunctionalitymeasurementsshouldbemadeonequipmentbeforeandaftereachtestorsequenceoftests.Packagedequipmentshouldbeusedinthesetests.If,forsomereason,thisisnotpossible(e.g.,thepackagingisnotavailable),thesetestsmaybeconductedonunpackagedequipment,providedthatthe

•Packagingcanbereasonablyassumednottoinfluencethetestingresults,and

•Packagingwillitselfresistthetemperatureandhumiditypackagestresses.

Packagingthatincludesamoisturebarriershouldalwaysbeincludedinthehighhumidityandlowtemperatureexposureandshocktestsbecausesuchbarriersaffectproductconformanceforthesetests.

NOTE1—Testsmaybeperformedsequentiallyonasinglesampleorparallel.

NOTE2—Ifthelikelihoodofnonconformancefromagiventestissmall,asequenceofseveraltestsmaybeperformedbeforetheequipmentoperationaltestisperformed.However,ifanonconformanceoccurs,thetestswillhavetoberepeatedtodeterminewhichenvironmentcausedthenonconformance.

NOTE3—Iftestingsequentiallyonasinglesample,thesuggestedtestsequenceislowtemperatureexposureandthermalshock,followedbyhighhumidityexposure,andfinallyhigh-temperatureexposureandthermalshock.Adequatetimeforproductrecoveryaftertheshocksshouldbeallowed.Thiswillpermittheequipment’stemperaturetomoderate,andanyresultingcondensationtoevaporate,beforeperformingtheequipment’sfunctionalitytestorcontinuingthepackagetestsequence.

NOTE4—Fortransportationandstoragemethods,testsampleinsertionintoachamberkeptatthespecifiedextremeenvironmentsispermittedifamanufactureragreestothismethod.Theexposuredurationshallbeextendedtoincludetheomittedrampingtimeprovidedinthisdocument.

1.1.1.1.Low-TemperatureExposureandThermalShock

ThepackagedequipmentshallnotsustainanydamageordeteriorateinfunctionalperformanceafterithasbeenexposedtotheenvironmentdescribedinTable1-1.

TestSequence:

1)Makeinitialequipmentfunctionalitytestatambienttemperatureandhumiditylevel.

2)Packagetheequipmentandplaceitintothetestchamber.

3)Monitorthechambertemperaturecontinuouslyduringthetest.

4)Decreasethechambertemperature,atarateofabout30°C/hr(54°F/hr)to-40°C(-40°F).

5)Maintainatemperature-40°C(-40°F)foraminimumof72hours.

6)Administerthethermalshockbyincreasingthechambertemperature(orremovingtheequipmentfromthechamber)from-40°C(-40°F)toambientinlessthan5minutes.(Useappropriatepersonalprotectiveequipmentwhenhandlingthepackage.)

7)Performapost-testequipmentfunctionalitycheckaftertheequipmenthasrecoveredatambienttemperatureandhumidity.

1.1.1.2.HighRelativeHumidityExposure

ThepackagedequipmentshallnotsustainanydamageordeteriorateinfunctionalperformanceafterithasbeenexposedtotheenvironmentdescribedinTable1-2.
