七、序数词的简写形式为表示该词的阿拉伯数字加上该单词的最后两个字母，最后两个字母要变成上标格式。
如：

八．1、月份的首字母一定要大写。
2、May没有缩写形式，September的缩写形式是“Sept”,其他月份单词的缩写形式都是有单词的前三个字母加“·”构成。
3、月份的缩写形式不用在句子中，只能单独使用。
4、表示“在几月”时，要在月份单词前面加介词in。
九、介词in、on、at的用法。
1、in后面+上午/下午/晚上/月份/季节/年份。

★★基数词变序数词的规律
一、二、三，单独记；八去t，九除e， ve要用f替，
整十基数变序数，先把ty变成tie；
要是遇到两位数，十位基数个位序，th最后加上去。
解析口诀：
one→first， two→second， three→third这三个词变化特殊，要单独记；
eight→eighth， nine→ninth， 八去t，九去e后再加-th；
five→fifth， twelve→twelfth，五、十二把ve换成f再加-th；
twenty→twentieth， thirty→thirtieth... 整十先把词尾y改为ie再加-th。
两位数时则十位数用基数词，个位数用序数词，如：
twenty-first。
★★时间介词 at in on
1、at表示具体的时间，意思是“在某一时刻”，常与o’clock，half past six等表示具体时间的短语连用。
2、 in 表示一段时间，常用January等表示月份的词和spring等表示季节的词连用； 表示上午，下午和晚上也用in（in the morning/ in the afternoon/ in the evening）。
3、on 表示具体的某一天，意思是“在„„那天”，常和表示星期的词连用。

before 表示时间“在„„之前”。

after表示时间“在„„之后”。
