1.RegistrationandPaymentofTuition

1）PaymentPeriod:

2）Howtopaythetuition:

locale=2）andprintoutthetuitionbill.Gotothedesignatedbankandmakethepaymentorremittheamounttoyourownvirtualaccount.（TuitionbillcanbeprintedoutinKorean,EnglishorChinese）

※Studentswhoplantotransfertuition,admissionandinsurancefeesfromanoverseasbank,pleasedoaskforthebankinformationthroughe-mailatcwithtt@hanyang.ac.kr.

3）D-2（Student）Visaapplicationafterpayment

StudentscurrentlystayinginKorea:

Youcanreceiveacertificateofadmissionifyoubringthereceiptfortuitionandinsurancefeetotheofficeofinternationalcooperation.However,thosewhodidnotpassKoreanarenotabletochangevisatoD-2,socertificateofadmissionisnotnecessary.

ChinesestudentsstayinginChina:

1）SeoulCampus:

Ifyoupaytuitionandinsurancefees,HanyangUniversitywillsendyouacertificateofadmission.YoucanapplyforvisawiththecertificateattheKoreanEmbassyorConsulate.（PleasecheckwiththeEmbassyorConsulateforadditionalrequireddocuments.）

2）ERICACampus:

Ifyoupaytuitionandinsurancefees,HanyangUniversitywillapplyforyourvisathroughtheministryofjustice,Korea.Assoonastheresultcomesout,theuniversitywillsendtheconfirmationnumberofvisaissuancetoyoubye-mail.YoucanapplyforvisawiththenumberattheKoreanEmbassyorConsulate.（PleasecheckwiththeEmbassyorConsulateforadditionalrequireddocuments.）

Studentsresidingoverseas:

Ifyoupaytuitionandinsurancefees,HanyangUniversitywillsendyouacertificateofadmission.YoucanapplyforvisawiththecertificateattheKoreanEmbassyorConsulate.（PleasecheckwiththeEmbassyorConsulateforadditionalrequireddocuments.）

※StudentswhofailedtopasstheKoreanlevelmaynotapplyforD-2visabecausetheyhavetotakealeaveofabsenceforthefirst（Fall）semester.TheyhavetoapplyforD-4（languagestudy）visa.

●Ifyoudonotregisterduringtheregistrationperiod,youradmissionwillbeforfeited.

●Transactionfeesshouldbepaidbythestudent.

●Ifinternationalstudentscanceltheirregistrationorreceiverefundsoftheirtuition,theImmigrationsOfficewillbenotifiedandthestudent’sVISAwillberevoked.

●InsuranceFee（150,000KoreanWonforoneyear）

-Internationalstudentsmustbeinsured.Youshouldpayinsurancefeewithtuitionandadmissionfee.Thosewhoalreadyholdhealthinsurancedonothavetopayinsurancefee,buttheyneedtosubmitacopyofinsurancecertificatetotheOfficeofInternationalCooperation.Pleasenotethatyoumaypayahugeamountformedicalcareifyouarenotinsured.IfyoudecidetoleaveKoreaduetoleaveofabsenceordropoutofschoolbeforetheinsuranceexpires,youcangetrefundfortheremainingdays.

2.IssueofAdmissionCertificateforVISAchange（D-2）

1）IfyouarecurrentlystayinginKorea,youcanreceivetheAdmissionCertificatefromtheOfficeofInternationalCooperation,aftersubmittingthetuitionreceipttotheoffice.Ifwalk-invisitsareimpossible,wecanalsosenditthroughpostmail.

2）DocumentsrequiredtochangeVISAstatus:

Passport,Alienregistrationcard,ApplicationforChangeofVISAstatus,standardadmissioncertificate,thelatestacademiccertificate（highschool/Collegediplomacertifiedbytheembassy）,familyregistrationbook（onlyforChinesestudents）,copyofbankaccount（withover15,000USDdeposited）,proofoffamilyrelationship,ProofofResidence,130,000KRWtransactionfee

→PleaseprepareallthedocumentsmentionedaboveandapplytochangeVISAstatusattheImmigrationOffice

※Studentsfromdifferentpreviousinstitutions（non-Hanyangstudents）holdingD2VisamustsubmitattheImmigrationOffice.Studentsholdingothervisas（suchasF,E,HtypeVisas）shouldapplyfor.Thosewhodonotabidebytheclausesmentionedabovearesubjecttoheavyfine.（ThosewhoareholdingF,EorHtypevisas,pleasesubmityourcopyofAlienregistrationcardtotheOfficeofInternationalCooperation.）

1）StudentsresidingOverseasandneedtoapplyforVISAforthefirsttimeshouldfillouttheVISAApplicationFormbelowandsendittocjchoi@hanyang.ac.kr.Ifyouareadmittedtomorethanoneuniversity,youshouldchooseoneandenrollintheuniversitythatyouhavedecidedtoattend.PleasenotethatVISAwillbeissuedonceandwouldnotbeissuedfrommultipleuniversities.

※Theadmissioncertificatewillbesenttotheaddressonthevisaapplication,sopleasemakesuretheaddressiscorrect.
