SomepeoplehavedrawntheconclusionfromBowlby'sworkthatchildrenshouldnotbesubjectedtodaycarebeforetheageofthreebecauseoftheparentalseparationitentails,andmanypeopledobelievethis.Ithasbeenarguedthataninfantunderthreewhoiscaredforoutsidethehomemaysufferbecauseoftheseparationfromhisparents.Buttherearealsoargumentsagainstsuchastrongconclusion.
