ThecoreofUI3000smartpressuretransmitterisonthebasisofpole-changiiigdifferentialcapacitivepressuresensor(Figure1.2),
Thecapacitivepressuresensorisacompletelysealedpart.Whenprocesspressureistransmittedviatheisolatingdiaphragmandsiliconeoilfillingliquidtothesensingdiaphragmwhichflinctionsasapublicplateofdifferentialcapacitance,thesensingdiaphragmdisplacesandthusdifferentialcapacitancechanges.Thereisaspecificfunctionrelationshipexistingbetweenprocesspressureanddifferentialcapacitance.
2)Solid-statesiliconsensor(applytoTG/TA)
Thesensitivecomponentofsolid-statesiliconsensorisonthebasisofpiezoresistiveeffectofmonocrystallinesilicon.Thereisafour-armresistancestrainbridgespreadingonsiliconchip.Processpressureistransmittedviatheisolatingdiaphragmandsiliconeoilfillingfluidtothesensitivecomponents.Becauseofpiezoresistiveeffect,thebalanceofthebridgeisbrokenandthesensitivecomponentoutputselectricalsignalhavinglinearrelationshipwiththemeasuredpressuresignal.
2.A/Dconvertermodule
A/Dconvertermoduleismadeofelectroniccomponentsencapsulatedinthesensormodule.Itincludessignalsampling,conditioning,A/Dconversion,temperaturesensoranddatastorage.
TheA/Dconvertercircuitconvertstheanalogsignalcomingfromconditioningcircuittodigitalsignalwhichisinputofthemicroprocessor.
Temperatureofthetransmitterisacquiredbythetemperaturesensorsandthenconvertedtodigitalsignalwhichissuppliedtothemicroprocessortodotemperaturecompensation.
EEPROMhasthefunctionofpowerfailureprotectionandisusedtostoreconfigurationparametersanddeviceinformation.
II.Amplifiermodule
AmplifierModuleismainlymadeofaremovableelectroniccomponentandlocalkeymodule.Itisusedtorealizetransmitterconfiguration,adjustment,selfdiagnosis,temperaturecompensation,analogoutput,HARTcommunication,etc.ThecoreofamplifiermoduleismicroprocessorandincludesD/Aconverter,HARTmodemchip,localkey,etc.
ThemicroprocessoroftransmittercontrolsA/DconversionandD/Aconversion,andrealizeslinearization,transmitterconfiguration,selfdiagnosis,temperaturecompensationandmenudisplay(withLCDindicator),etc.
TheD/Aconversioncircuitconvertsthedigitalsignalcoiningfromthemicroprocessortoanalogsignalof4~20mAwhichthenbeoutputtocircuitloop.
Localkeymodulecanachieveon-siteadjustmentforbothzeroandspan.Avarietyofon-siteadjustmentandsettingscanbeachievedwiththeLCDindicator.
HARTmodemchipmodulatesdigitalsignalintoHARTsignalwhichissuperimposedon4〜20mAanalogsignalanddemodulatesHARTsignalintodigitalsignalwhichisthensuppliedtomicroprocessor.
