Accountingforfactorssuchaseducationlevel,ineandhealthstatus,thestudyfoundthatthosewhoreadmorethan3.5hoursweeklywere23percentlesslikelytodieduringthat12yearperiod.Thosewhoreadupto3.5hours—anaverageofahalfhouraday—were17percentlesslikely.
