Theartificialleafisnotanewidea.Thefirstartificialleafwasinventedin1997butwastooexpensiveandunstableforpracticaluse.Thenewleaf,bycontrast,ismadeofcheapmaterials,easytouseandhighlystable.Inlaboratorystudies,Nocerashowedthatanartificialleafprototype(原型)couldoperatecontinuouslyforatleast45hourswithoutadropinactivity.
