The2ndZhuhaiInternationalMozartCompetitionforYoungMusicians(“theCompetition”)kickedoffwithanopeningceremonythatwasheldintheHuafaCAPPGrandTheaterinZhuhai,ChinaonNovember29,2016.

HostedbyMozarteumUniversitySalzburg,andundertakenbyZhuhaiHuafaGroup,theCompetitionwilltakeplacefromSetember12–24,2017inZhuhai.Thecompetitionvenue,theHuafaCAPPGrandTheater,isaworld-class,comprehensiveshowplacethatisfamousforitsuniquearchitecture,perfectperformingfunctionandadvancedstagedesign.

Sinceitsfirstrunnignin2015,theCompetitionhasbecomeoneofthemajorinternationalmusiceventsinZhuhai.TheCompetitiontakesplaceeverytwoyearsandaimstodiscovernew,talented,youngmusiciansfromallovertheworldandpromotetheirfurthercreativedevelopment.
