TheAsianandPacificarea,speciallySouthKorea'sandJapanwerethebroadbandaccessdeveloptheswiftestmostandviolentcountry,theSouthKoreanwidebandusertotalalreadybreakthrough10,000,000,thewidebandpopularrateoccupiedtheworldfirst,holdfamily7Internet90%.JapaneseGovernmentalsovigorouslyadvancesthewidebanddevelopmentthrougheachmeasure,plansin2005toenhancethewidebandusertotalto30,000,000,inwhichFTTHachieves110,000.USstillistheworldbiggestbroadbandaccessmarket,thetotalnumberofuserssurpasses30,000,000.AmericanFOCthewidebandservicelocalizationisoneof2003-2008yearsixbiggoals,infactthebroadbandaccessisbecomingtheAmericanuniversalservicethenextgoal.TheUSbroadbandaccessisprimarilydevelopsbythecabletelevisionandADSL,becausethetelecommunicationcontrolpolicyencouragementusesthenewtechnicalconstructionnetwork(e.g.FCCstipulationoperationbusinessconstructionopticalfiberaccessnetworktobepossiblenotlimitedthepressurewhichinlocalringcircuitnon-colligationpolicy)aswellasthecompetitionandtheservicegrows,recentlyleadstheoperationbusinesstobeextremelypositivetotheopticalfibertothestation(FTTP)development.
