Firstly,authorwillanalyzetheregisterofthetext,andthendiscussthreesignificantfeaturesofthetextindifferentaspectswhichrelatedtotheregister.

Toanalyzetheregister,itisnecessarytoknowthedefinitionofregister.HereisthedescriptionfromWiki-pedia:

Inlinguistics,aregisterisavarietyofalanguageusedforaparticularpurposeorinaparticularsocialsetting.Forexample,whenspeakinginaformalsetting,anEnglishspeakermaybemorelikelytoadheremorecloselytoprescribedgrammar,pronouncewordsendingin-ingwithavelarnasalinsteadofanalveolarnasal（e.g."walking",not"walkin'"）,choosemoreformalwords（e.g.fathervs.dad,childvs.kid,etc.）,andrefrainfromusingcontractionssuchasain't,thanwhenspeakinginaninformalsetting.

Thesearenon-finiteverbs.Theyareduetoindicateprocessintheformofactiveorpassivevoice.

3.Conclusion

Withcarefulanalysis,wecouldaffirmthattheregisterofthistextisScienceandTechnology.Indetail,wealsosummarizethreefeaturesfromthetexttoprovethethesisinthisessay:
