BeeseeShopNingboplanstoclosethepresentshopintheDrumTowerBusinessCenteronAugust17andopenthenewoneintheTianYiSquareonAugust18in2002.Themainreasontoexpandthepresentshopisthattheshopistoosmalltomeetthecustomers’demands.Furthermore,thepresentsiteoftheshopisnotthemostidealplacetoselltheladies’clothesinNingbo.
Thenewshopwillbesituatedinthenewlargestshoppingmall--TianYiSquare.Itisonthefirstflooroftheshoppingmallandoccupiesanareaof50squaremeters.
Theprojectwillbringincreasesinrevenueandprofitbyaround300%inthefirstyearandwilldomoreintheyearstocome.
ThenewshopneedsthefinanceofRMB291,200fortheinvestmentofthewholeprojectinthefirstyeartorentthehouse,decoratethenewshop,purchasethenewequipmentandfurniture,stockthenewclothesandoffernewservices.ItneedsRMB240,400ayearfromthesecondyear.
Thenewshopwillsurelymeetthecustomers’needs,increasetheturnoverandprofit,andimprovethefinancialstatements.
Proposal
BeeseeShopNingboisaprivatelyownedclothingshop.ItislocatedonthemainroadintheDrumTowerBusinessCenter.Theshopmainlysellswomen’sformalandcasualclothesofBeeseeBrandtocustomersagingfrom20to35andattractsalotoffemalecustomersinlocalarea.
However,thepresentBeeseeShoponlyoccupiesanareaof20squaremeters,whichishinderingtheshopfromexpandingitsservices.Themanagementplannedtoofferawiderangeofservicesbutthelimitedspacehasconstrainedthebusiness.
Somecustomersoftencomplainabouttheinsufficientstockandstaff,limitedrangeofclothing,narrowspace,andimproperinteriorlayout.
ThebestsolutiontotheproblemistoexpandthepresentBeeseeShop,sothatthemanagementcanhiretwomoreemployeestohandlemorestockandofferbetterservicesforthecustomersinalargerplace.TheshopexpansionprojectneedsRMB291,200todecoratethenewshop,installnewequipment,enlargestock,hirenewemployeesandtrainthestaff.RMB100,000wouldbeinvestedbytheHeadOfficeofBeeseeFashionCompanyasagreedandtherestofmoneywouldbeprovidedbytheownerofBeeseeShopNingbo.
ThenewBeeseeShopwouldallowustoincreasetheprofitbythreetimes.TheturnoverofthenewshopwouldbearoundRMB700,000bytheendofthefirstyear,andwouldbebetterfortheyearstocome.

Beeseeshopisaprivatelyownedclothingshop.ItislocatedonthemainroadintheDrumTowerBusinessCenterjustoppositetheZhongshanPark.Itmainlysellswomen’sformalandcasualclothestocustomersagingfrom20to35andattractsalotoffemalecustomers.
However,theshoponlyoccupiesanareaof20squaremeterssothereislittlespaceforstorage.Thisishinderingtheshopfromexpandingitsservices.Themanagementplannedtoofferawiderangeofservicesbutthelimitedspacehasconstrainedtheplan.Furthermore,thepresentdistrictisnotthemostsuitableplacetosellthewomen’sclothes.Soweneedtohaveabetterplace.
Currentbusinessanalysis
TheBeeseeshopismainlysellingfashionclothestoladiesagingfrom20to35yearsold.Itusuallyhasastockof200clothes,whichincreaseswhenapublicholidaystarts,especiallyfromDecember22toFebruarybeforetheSpringFestival.Thefashionsareespeciallyforthecareerwomen.Amongtheseclothes,long-sleevedblouseandjeansalwaysenjoyahighturnover.
Theshopalsotakesordersfromthecertaincompaniestomaketheworkinguniform.
Financialperformance
ThefinancialhasimprovedalotsincetheBeeseeshopopenedin2000.Theturnoverwas250,000Yuanin2001.Ithasincreasedby50,000Yuanoverthe2000levelof200,000Yuan.Theprofitshaveincreasedby100%in2001whilethecostsincreasedby8%.
