Thebusconductor,driver,andotherpassengerslistenedtohertale.Afterafewminutes,shestoppedcrying,removedsomecheesebreadfromherbag,andbegantoeat,worrystillknittingherbrow.

Anoldmanintatteredclothesgotonthebus.Hesatintheseatdirectlyinfrontofthewoman.

Afterafewminutes,allseatsweretaken.Thedrivergotbehindthewheelandstartedtheengine.Thebusconductorcollectedticketsandbeganaskinguswhereweweregettingoff.Whenhecametotheoldman’sseat,hebecamesuspiciousandaskedtheoldmanwhetherhehadanymoney.Theoldmanadmittedthathedidnot.Heexplainedthathehadspentallhismoneythismorningwhenhe’daccidentallygotonthewrongbusandnowhewastryingtogohome.
