Celerrasupportsupto16writeablesnapsperproductionfilesystem,whichisinadditiontothe96supportedread-onlysnapsperfilesystem.
Itisnotpossibletomakemorethanonewriteablesnapfromasinglebase(read-only)snap,andyoucannotsnapawriteablesnap.
AllupdatestowriteablefilesystemsnapcopiesarestoredintheSavVol.

CelerraManagerBasicEditionhasscreensthatpermitAdministratorstospecifyhowcheckpointsshouldbescheduledandthefrequencyofrefresh.
TheAdministratorindicateswhenthesnapshotsshouldoccur,alongwiththemaximumnumberofcheckpointstokeep.Forexample,ifyouwanttomaintainsevendaysofcheckpointsonaparticularfilesystem,youwouldscheduleanightlysnapshotandchoosetoalwayskeepsevencheckpoints.

CelerraReplicatorprovidesefficient,asynchronousdatareplicationoverInternetProtocol(IP)networks.WithCelerraReplicator,youcancreatepoint-in-time,NASfilesystemcopiesandconsistentiSCSILUNcopiesonlocalorremotesites.
•WithCelerraReplicator,boththeproductiondataandreplicaareaccessibleatalltimes.
•AninitialcopycanbemadeoverthenetworkorbyphysicallytransportingtheimageviatapeoranadditionalCelerratotheremotelocation.
