1998年进入音响行业领域。

2000年公司内部改革和战略重组，公司正式更名为西特尔电子科技有限公司。

2001年参加89届“中国出口商品交易会”中国专业音响首次在“广交会”亮相，公司营销战略转向国外市场，产品90%销往欧美市场。

科技，是西特尔的“成长创造源”，是西特尔永恒的核心竞争力

TechnologyistheresourceofCe-anCegrowthandcreation,andisthecontinuedcorecompetitivenessofCe-anCe.

2006年，西特尔电子科技有限公司与中国科学技术大学工程学院展开合作，致力于数字音频技术的开发研究，成立了“西特尔电子科技综合实验室”，成功研制出基于Zigbee的专业音频设备实时无线监控网络系统和达到国际先进水平的Xap260数字音频处理系统,针对使用现场优化设计的Xap260，PC软件人机化界面，使参数调节随心而动，基于32位高性能DSP处理引擎，敏感的数据长度达64位。

在Xap260开发过程中使用综合音频处理器仿真开发平台实现了软硬件并行开发，大大缩短开发时间。

获得广东省“产学研”项目立项支持的D类功放核心技术“软开关数字功放关键技术研究”，该项目处于世界先进水平并于2009年顺利完成，PWM功率放大器的核心研究获得了相关发明专利。
