1.1Laserengravingcuttingsystemintroduction

Laserengravingcuttingsystemthroughacomputernumericalcontrolmachinetoolstoachieveeffectivecontrol,accordingtotheuser’sdifferentrequirementsofthecompletionofprocessingtasks。

Thesystemincludingcontrolboardandcontrolpanel,andsupportingsoftware.Thismanualdescribeshowtousethesoftwaretocompletethetaskoflaserprocessing.（Motherboardwiringandcontrolpaneloperations,seetheaccompanyingmanualandcontrolpanelwiringboardoperatinginstructions）

2.2Languagesettingsandmanufacturesinformation

Inadditiontoinstallationprocesscansetthesoftwarelanguagetype,youcaneasilyswitchindifferentlanguage.

Selectthedesiredtypeoflanguage,caneasilyswitchbetweendifferentlanguages.

Toobtainmanufacturersinformation,sothatwecanprovideyouwithbetterservice.ClickMenuBar【Help】->【About】.

Howtosetmanufacturers,referto《RDCAMSoftwareSetupManual》

Thebottomofthedialogboxshowsthecurrentsoftwareversionnumber.Asdifferentversionsofsoftwaremaybehavesomedifferencesonthefunctionsandinterfaces,youcaneasilycontactandcommunicatewithmanufacturersthroughsoftwareversionnumber.

2.3Fileparameterssetting

◆PLTPrecision:

Accordingtotheaccuracyoftheoriginalpltfiletoselecttheappropriateimportunit.

◆Smoothcurves:

Whenimportvectorfile，automaticallysmoothingtheoriginalcurves.Fortheoriginalgraphicissmoothorneedtorepeatedlyadjustthebesetsmoothingeffect,youcanuncheckthisbutton.Donotdosmoothingcurvesmayreducetimeofimportprocessing.

◆Autoclosecurves：

Accordingtoclosetoleranceautomaticcheckandclosedcurve

◆Combinelines：

Accordingtomergertolerance,auto-connectingcurves.

◆Colormapautomaticallyswitchtograyscale：

Becauseundernormalcircumstances,graphicsarebasedongrayscale.Iftheimportedbitmapisacolorimagecanbeconvertedtograyscale.

◆ImportDxftextinfo：

WhentheuserneedonlyDxfthegraphicinformation,notneedthetextinformationwithinthefile,donotcheckthis.

◆DxfUnit:

ThedefaultdxfunitofsoftwareisMM.UserscanchangeittoCM、inchandcustom.

◆Exportprecision:

Theprecisionofexportoutputfile（rdformat）.

◆Velocityunit:

Softwaresupportedtwotypesofspeedunit:

mm/s、m/min.Selectedaccordingtousage.Afteritwasselected,thespeedofparametersontheinterfaceunitwillchangewithit.

2.4ObjectSelection

Intheprocessofdrawingandeditgraphics,firstofallistoselecttheobject.

Whentheobjectisbeingselected,inthecenterofthisobjectwillhaveashapedmark“×”，andsurroundedbyeightcontrolpoints.

Clickmenu【Select】，switchtostatus“Select”。

Underthisstatus,youcanselectobject.Thefollowingarefivekindsofmethodofselecting：

◆ShortcutsCtrl+A,selectallobjects。

◆Clickmouseonthescreentoselectsingleobject

◆Selectobjectusingselectbox

Pressthemouseanddrag,aslongastheboxcomeintocontactwiththeobjectwillbeselected。

◆Increasedselectobject/minusselectobject

Increaseselect：

Press“Shift”key,clickorboxselecttoincreaseselectobject.

Minusselect：

Press“Shift”key,clickorboxselecttheselectedobject.

◆Selectobjectaccordingtolayer

Right-clicktheselectedlayer,thenthepartofallobjectsinthelayerwillbeselected.

2.5ObjectColor

Thecolorofobjectthatisthecoloroftheobjectcontour.YoucanclickthecolorbuttonontheLayerBartochangethecoloroftheobjecthasbeenselected.Thecolorofthepressedbuttonisthecolorofcurrentlayer.

2.6ObjectTransformation

Transformationofobjectmainlyinclude:

objectlocation、orientationandsize.Butdoesnotchangethebasicshapeoftheobjectanditscharacteristics.

Transformationofobjectforusers,providesaconvenientuserinterface.

YoucanalsousetheObjectPropertiestoolbar

Youcanalsousetherighttransformationtoolstotransformandcopythegraphics.

2.7Placeobject

Placetheobjectistofacilitatethevieworposition.Right-clickmenufunctionscanbedockedintheobjectwillbeplacedonthepageselectedseveralspecialposition（upperleft,upperright,lowerright,lowerleft,andcenterofthepage）,andifplacedinanotherlocation,youcanusethe2.6objecttransformfeatureimplementation.

2.8Objectalign

Selectmultipleobjects,usethealignmenttoolinthecontextmenuontheselectedobjecttoavarietyofpublishingoperations.

Alignthebaseobject:

PressSHIFTforasingleobjectinturncheckforanobjecttothefinalchoiceasabenchmark.Curvenumberforthemarqueetotheobjectatthebottomforthebenchmark.

2.9ObjectView

Theviewoftheobjectcanbeusedintheviewerright-clickmenu.

◆Translation:

Click【View】/【Move】,Thenholddowntheleftmousebuttoninthedrawingarea,dragthepan.

◆Marqueeview:

Click【View】/【Viewselect】.Mousetothedrawingarea,holddowntheleftmousebuttonanddraginthedrawingareadisplaysamarqueeinthedashedbox,releasethemouse,wereframedintheregionwillbethelargestshareinthedrawingareatodisplay.

◆Viewpage:

Click【View】/【ViewPageFrame】.Youcanviewthefullpagedisplay.

◆Viewdata:

Click【View】/【ViewDataFrame】.Youcanviewthefullselectedobject.

2.10GroupandUnGroup

Editgraphics,andsometimesneedtobeapartoftheoperationasawhole（suchasmulti-linetextlayout）.

2.11Basicgraphicscreation

Clickmenu【Line】,dragthemouseonthescreenyoucandrawanarbitraryline。

Pressthe“Ctrl”keywhiledraggingthemousetodrawhorizontalorvertical

line.

◆Polyline

Clickmenu【Polyline】。

Dragthemouseonthescreenyoucandrawanarbitrarypolyline.

◆Rectangle

Clickmenu【Rectangle】。

Dragthemouseonthescreenyoucandrawanarbitrarysizerectangle.

Pressthe“Ctrl”keywhiledraggingthemousetodrawsquare.

◆Ellipse

Clickmenu【Ellipse】。

Dragthemouseonthescreenyoucandrawanarbitrarysizeellipse.

Pressthe“Ctrl”keywhiledraggingthemousetodrawround.

Clickmenu【Ellipse】.Clickthemouseonthescreen,youcandrawanpoint.

2.12ImportantTool

Herearesomefrequentlyusedtools.Usingtheseimportanttools,canmakethecurrentdocumentinthegraphicsmoreorderly,andmaketheprocessingofoutputmorefast.

2.12.1Manualsortingandthesetofcuttingpointandthecuttingdirection

Softwareprovidesusersaconvenienttoolforthemanualsorting.Select【Edit】->【Setcuttingproperty】.Cuttingpropertydialogboxwillpopup.Allwithmanualsorting,andcutpoints,cuttingthedirectionofthesettingsinthisdialogboxcanbecompleted.

1>Showpath

Firstcheckthe“showpath”,itwilldisplaythecurrentgraphicscuttingorderandthecuttingdirection.

2>Manualsort

Select

.Thisbuttonisusedtoswitchthecurrentstatusoftheoperationistoeditorview.Thenyoucanmarqueeorclickthegraphicsinthegraphicsdisplayarea（orclickonepixelorcheckmanypixels）.Afterselectingthegraphic,select

thesegraphicstoberedirectedtoanotherlist,tobeprocessedasthefirstprimitive.Primitivesfollowedbyrepeatedoperations,tocompletesequencingofallgraphics.

3>Changethedirectionofgraphicprocessing

Mouseselectthegraphicinthegraphicsdisplayareaorinthelist.Andthenclick

4>Changethecuttingpoint

Selectthegraphicsthatshouldbechangedthecuttingpoint,itwillshowallthenodesinthecurrentgraphics.Selectthestartingpoint,double-clickthemouse,itwillchangethestartingpointofthecurrentgraphics.Afterthecompletionofallchanges,click

theresultofthechangescanbesaved.
