Soonaftermidnighton6August1945,abombwasdroppedonthecityofHiroshima,aciviliantarget.Nowarningwasgivenandtherewastotaldevastation.Almostallthebuildingsweredestroyedandmorethan100000peoplediedorwerehorriblywounded.
TheJapanesemilitarystilldidnotwanttosurrendersothreedayslater,theAmericansdroppedasecondatomicbombonthecityofNagasaki,killing45000people.TheJapanesegovernmentwasdiscussingendingthewarwhentheyheardthenewsofNagasaki.Finally,theysurrenderedandtheWorldWarⅡcametoanend.

In1917,Russiawasinchaos.Theeconomywascollapsing,therewerefoodshortagesandthecountrywassufferingheavylossesintheWorldWarⅠ.Inevitably,peoplebegantolosefaithintheirruler,TsarNicholasⅡ.On15March1917,aftermuchpoliticalunrest,theTsardecidedtoabdicate.HewasreplacedbyanewgovernmentledbyAlexanderKerensky.
