GreatBritainisoneofthemostdenselypopulatedcountriesofEurope,withthesouthernpartsofthecountryreachingthehighestdensityfiguresofEuropeasawhole.
ThemainmountainregionsaretheCornishHeights,theCambrianinWales,theCambrianMountains(inLakeDistrict)andthePennies.ThehighestmountaininGreatBritainisBenNevisinScotland.
TherearemanyriversinGreatBritain.AmongthemostimportantriversistheThames,whichflowsintotheNorthSea.Itslengthis336kmanditisthedeepestriveinBritain.ItisnavigableasfarasthecapitalofGreatBritain–London.ThelongestriverinBritainistheSevern.Itslengthis354km(220miles).OtherimportantriversincludetheTrent,theTayandtheTweed.(PoliticalmapofBritainshowingriversandmaintownsandcities)
