Afteraminuteortwoheopenedthemagain,lookedoutofthewindowoftheplane,andsaidtohisfriend,"Lookatthosepeopledownthere.Theylookassmallasants,don'tthey?

"Thoseareants,"answeredhisfriend."We'restillontheground."

Nowtheoldmanenteredhisroom.Thesmellofthespiltwineremindedhimoftheaccident.Whenhelookedupatthewall,hefoundtheflywasthereagain!

Hewalkedtoitcarefullyadnslappeditwithallhisstrength.Onhearingaloudcry,thekind-heartedwaitressrushedin.Tohergreatsurprise,thepooroldmanwastheresittingonthefloor,histeethclenchedandhisrighthandbleeding!

Whenhereachedit,however,hesawthattherewasanoticeonit.Itwaswrittenininkandsaid,"Thisseatispreservedforproperloadbalance,thankyou."MrRobinsonhadneverseensuchanunusualnoticeinaplanebefore,buthethoughtthattheplanemustbecarryingsomethingparticularlyheavyinit,sohewalkedonandfoundanotheremptyseat,notbesideawindow,tositin. 

Twoorthreepeopletriedtositinthewindowseatbesidethesoldier,buttheytooreadthenoticeandwenton,whentheplanewasnearlyfull,averybeautifulgirlhurriedintotheplane.Thesoldier,whowaswatchingthepassengerscomingin,quicklytookthenoticeofftheseatbesidehimselfandinthiswaysucceededinhavingthecompanyofthegirlduringthewholetrip.
