Abstract:

ThisarticlemainlytellsusalovestorybetweenJaneEyreandMr.Rochesterbythethreewavestoasinglestrokemethod.Itmoldsameanlybirthandthelifepathhasbeenwindingbutsheinsistsonactuallydefendingtheindependentpersonality,thepursueofindividualfreedom,thepositionlifeequality.Sheisastrongfemalewholowerstheheadtothedestiny,anddescribesaheroinewhoexperiencesapainful,hardship,stubbornmindcourseinpursueofherhappylife.Althoughsheisshortandplainandhasanundistinguishedappearance,shehasactuallytherichsentimentalworld.Sheisalwaysneitherarrogantnorservile,andisalwaysdefendingherownpersonaldignity.Atlast,shewinsRochester’srespectandtheadmire.Althoughshegoesthroughmisery,shefinallyobeysthemindsummonandreturnstoRochesterwhohaslosteverythinginfire,includinghiseyes,buttwosincereheartfallsinlovethemindhappily.Inaword,theauthordoesn’tadoptthetraditionalmodeofwriting---“aperfectmatch”.Instead,shesuccessfullymoldsanewfemalefigurethatisn’toutstandingappearancebutvowstopursueequal,independentpersonality.

<<简·爱>>主要通过简·爱与罗切斯特之间一波三折的爱情故事,塑造了一个出生低微、生活道路曲折,却始终坚持维护独立人格、追求个性自由、主张人生平等、不向命运低头的坚强女性,并且描述了一位在追求她幸福生活的道路中历尽千心万苦的坚强女性。

尽管她个头不高而且长相一般但她却是一位内心世界非常丰富的女性。

尽管她历经折磨但她最终还是服从了心灵的召唤并且回到了罗伯斯特的身边然而此时的他已经在大火当中失去了一切还有他那双眼睛,但是最后两颗真正相爱的心结合在一起。

总之,作者没有采取传统的写作手法,相反她成功地朔造了一位新型的女形象她没有俊俏的面孔但却发誓要追求平等,独立的个性。

CharlotteBronte's"JaneEyre"hasbeenoneofmyfavoritenovelssinceIfirstreaditinhighschool.Itisoneofthosespecialbookswhichcanbereadandsavoredoverandover,andseemstoimprovewitheachreading.ThetaleisnarratedbyMissEyre,herself,invitingaspecialandintimaterelationshipwiththereader.ItisthroughJanethatwemeetandgrowtocareabout,orhate,somanyofthememorablecharactersonebecomesacquaintedwithonthesepages.Anditisthroughhernarrative,firstasalittlegirl,thenasayoungwoman,thatJane'scomplexpersonaisrevealed.Fromanearlyagehermorality,wit,determination,sheergritandromanticismareevident.

Ireallyenjoyedthisnovel.JaneEyreverymuchdeservesitsstatusasaclassic,whichessentiallymeansthateveryoneshouldreadit.Thewholeplotandtheliteraturearesodescriptiveandbeautiful...Icouldnotletitdown.Theauthorgraspsyouintothestory,withthedelightfulromanceandtheplotelementshereandthere;itisputtogetherverycoherently.EveryoneofJane'sdecisionsisvitaltotheprogressionofthisnovel.Theexcellentnarrationwasonemyfavoritehighlightsinthisnovel.Nottomention,unforgettablecharacters,hauntingmoments,andlovethemesallwillmakeusthinkintrospectivelyandrecommendhighly.

Publishedin1847,thenovel,atfirstglance,appearstobeanotherwellwrittengothicromance,ofthekindsopopularintheVictorianAge,withitsmystery,horror,broodinghero,touchofthemelodramatic,anddarkcastle-likesetting.TheriseofpoororphanedJane,whoisagainstalloddsredeemshertormentedherothroughhersteadfastlove,isreallynotuniqueatall.CharlotteBrontedidnot,however,writeamereromance,nomatterhowrivetingthereaders.Throughout,theauthormakessomeseriousstatementsaboutwomen'sequality,thetreatmentofchildren,andofwomenforcedintoadependentstateduringtheVictorianepoch,religioushypocrisy,romanticrelationshipsbetweenmenandwomen,thenatureoftruelove,andthedevelopmentofself.Thisisabeautifullywrittenworkoffictionwhichcombinesarivetingstoryline,compellingcharacters,andvividdescriptionsalongwithapowerfultestimonyabouttheperiodinwhichthebookwaswritten.

ThedevelopmentofJaneEyre’scharacteriscentraltotheentirenovel.Fromthebeginning,Janepossessesasenseofherself-worthanddignity,acommitmenttojusticeandprinciple,abeliefinGod,arichfeelingandapassionatecharacter.Herintegrityiscontinuallytestedinthewholecourseofthenovel,andJanemustlearntobalancethefrequentlyconflictingaspectsofhersoastofindsatisfactionandfreedom.

Theprotagonistandnarratorofthenovel,JaneEyreisanintelligent,honest,plain-featuredyounggirlwhoisforcedtocontendwithoppression,inequality,andhardship.Althoughshemeetswithaseriesofindividualswhothreatenherautonomy,Janerepeatedlysucceedsatassertingherselfandmaintainsherprinciplesofjustice,humandignity,andmorality.Shealsovaluesintellectualandemotionalfulfillment.HerstrongbeliefingenderandsocialequalitychallengestheVictorianprejudicesagainstwomenandthepoor.

Hardlifestartsattheageof10whensheisorphanedandlefttohercriticalaunt.Puttingherfaithinfrontofher,shetriestogetthroughallthetoughtimes.Asshegrewolder,shebecomesmoreknowingofhersurroundings.Janeendsupfallinginlovewithamansecretlystillmarried.Janefindsoutandrunsawaywithnomoneyandfindsafamilywhocancareandbeherfriend.Inatwist,Jane,getsabiginheritancefromhernowpassedawayuncle.Themanthatshestilllovescomesbacktofindherafteratragedyofhisfamily.Theybothhavecometorealizethattheyhavebothhavefoundtrueloveandwoulddoanythingtobewiththatotherperson.Thetwoaremarriedandhaveonechild.
