Unit8Whenisyourbirthday?
知识点复习
1.Whenisyourbirthday,Linda?
MybirthdayisonMay2nd.你的生日在什么时候，琳达？
我的生日在5月2号。
询问事件发生的年份、月份、日期等非钟点性时间时只能用when,而不能用whattime。
在具体的某一天用介词on.如onNewYear’sDay,onNationalDay.在具体的某一天的早中晚，也用介词on，如，ontheafternoonofOctober21st,onthemorningofmybirthday.
月份和星期的前面不用冠词，且首字母都要大写。

when与whattime都可以用来询问时间，相当于汉语的“什么时候”，它们之间的异同点如下：
一、询问做某事的具体时间（钟点）时，两者可以互相替换。

你通常什么时候起床？

二、询问钟表所显示的具体时间时，只能用whattime,而不能用when。

三、询问事件发生的年份、月份、日期等非钟点性时间时只能用when,而不能用whattime。
如：

约翰，你的生日是哪一天？
—MybirthdayisFebruary6th.我的生日是2月6日。
2.—WhenisTeachers'Day?
教师节是哪一天？
—It'sSeptember10th.九月十日。
2.MybirthdayisinAugust.我的生日在八月。
月份前面用介词in.Augustistheeightmonthofayear.注意此句的表达方式。
3.Doyouwanttocometomybirthdayparty?
你想来参加我的生日晚会吗？
want,想要，后面可接名词，如果接动词，则用todo形式。
具体句型为:
wanttodosth.
wantsb.todosth.请举例。
come来到，常与to连用，如，cometoMrCool’sClothesStorecomehere
注意句子的翻译技巧。
4.Atthreethisafternoon.在今天下午三点。
at后接具体时间点，如atthree,atfiveforty,此外还有atnoon,atnight.
今天下午，不能说todayafternoon,要说thisafternoon,前无介词。
5.IsyourbirthdayonFebruary1st?
No,it’sonthe6th.你的生日是在2月1日吗？
不，在6日。
通常来说，在有月又有日的的日期前省略冠词。
如，HisbirthdayinonJanuary17th.但是在只有日的情况下，要有the。
如，Youcangothereonthe22nd.
对星期几提问：
Whatdayis（it）today?
It’sFriday.
对日期提问：
What’sthedatetoday?
It’sNovember11th,2013.
既有星期，又有日期：
Whatistoday?
It’sFriday,November11th,2013.
6.Wehavesomeinterestingandfunthingsforyouthisterm.这学期我们为你们安排了一些有趣又好玩的东西。
have此处翻译成安排。
它还有很多其他的含义，如haveapartyforsb.havedinner
interesting强调事物有吸引力，fun强调趣味性。
Thatsoundsfun.那听起来很有趣。
thisterm,这学期。
this,that,these,those,next,last,each,every,some,no,any表时间前面通常不用介词。
7.SchoolDayisonOctober22nd.校庆日在十月二十二日。
SchoolDay,EnglishDay（英语日，英语节）SportsDay（运动日）是专有名词，所以每个单词的首字母都要大写。
以day结尾的节日前不用冠词。
8.Nextmonth,wehaveanartfestival.下个月，我们有一个艺术节。
Nextmonth,表达以现在为起点的下个月，所以前不用the。
但是如果表示以过去为起点，则需要用thenextmonth.如：
Thenextmonth,hefoundhisbag.联想，BecausethenextdayisSaturday.（p50）

other,adj.其他的，后面一定要有一个名词。
