Summarywritingisatestofyourabilitytofindtheimportantpointsinapieceofwritingandtoputthemtogether.Towriteasummary,youmustbeabletodotwothings.Youmustbeabletounderstandwhatyouread,andtoputideastogether.Comprehensionisatestofyourabilitytounderstandwhatyouread.Writingisatestofyourabilitytoputideastogether.SoSummarywritingandcomprehensionarecloselyrelatedtoeachother.

“摘要写作”用于检测你发现一篇文章的要点和把这些要点组织起来的能力。

要写好一篇摘要，你需要做两方面的工作：

你需要理解所读文章和把其中的要点归纳出来。

“理解”检测你对文章的理解能力；“写作”检测你把要点归纳表达的能力。

因此，摘要写作和理解是紧密相连的。

Unitlcontainstwenty-fourshortpieces.Therearesomequestionsundereachpiece.Youranswerstothesequestionswillbeinshort,simplesentences.Putyouranswerstogether.Inthisway,youwillmakeashortparagraph.Yourparagraphwillbeasummaryofthepiece.

第1单元共有24篇短文。

每篇文章之后均有一系列问题。

你应该用短小的简单句来回答这些问题，然后把你的回答组成一个段落，这个段落就是一篇摘要。
