Well,they’rebothmediumsizedtownsofbetween100,000and200,000inhabitants①.Theybothhaveuniversitiesandindustries.Tourismisimportantto②bothofthem,andtheyarebothcloseto③someofthemostbeautifulcountrysideintheregion.Buttheysharesomethingelse:

theyhaveatowntwinningagreement.

Towntwinningisnotanewidea,butithasbecomemorepopularinrecentyearsbecauseit’snoweasiertofindout④aboutandvisitothercountriesandtowns.It’sanagreementbetweentownsorcitiesofsimilarsizeandage⑤，andwhichhavesimilarfeatures⑥suchastourism,industry,cultureandentertainment⑦.
