RecentlyJapanissufferingfromearthquakeandnuclearburst,whichhascausedgreatlossesinbothlivesandproperities.Asweallknown,Japanisasmallislandcountry,ithasnonaturalresources.Sonowonderit’sabighurtforJapan.

Andasweallknown,nuclearburstwouldbadlydamagepeople’slife.Itwouldmakepeoplesufferillness.Andseveralreasonsshouldbeconsideredtobringaboutthisdisaster.Firstly,thereisnowonderthattheearthquakecausethenuclearburst.Secondabnormalweathershouldbetoblame.Butafterthatweneedtoseewhathasmadetheweatherinsuchcondition.Obviously,itisthenaturehasbeendisturbedandtheenvironmenthasbeendamaged.

Thepossibilityofincreasesinthecostofuraniuminadditiontothecostofgreatersafetyprovisionscouldpricenuclearpoweroutofthemarket.Inthelongrun,environmentalistsargue,nuclearenergywastesvaluableresourcesanddisturbstheecologytoanextentwhichcouldbringaboutthedestructionofthehumanrace.Thusifwewishtosurvive,wecannotaffordnuclearenergy.Inspiteofthecaseagainstnuclearenergyoutlinedabove,nuclearenergyprogrammesareexpanding.Suchanexpansionassumesacontinualgrowthinindustrialproductionandconsumerdemands.However,itisdoubtfulwhetherthisgrowthwillorcancontinue.
