即使是运动场上跑得最慢的人也可以通过学习和练习跑的技术成为跑得快的人。
句子中的介词，by+动名词短语（learningandpracticingrunningtechniques）作状语，表示方式。
课文中多处使用这种结构。
如第八段:
Byusingonlythetwoparts,thestepsarequicker,andthespeedisincreased.以及最后一段中Thenicethingisthatanybodycanbecomeabetterathletebystudyingandpracticingtheserunningtechniques.

这意味着用所需的最小能量使自己向前移动。
