CPC'smagazinecallsforconfidenceinChina'sfuture

BEIJING-QiushiJournal,theflagshipmagazineoftheCommunistPartyofChina（CPC）CentralCommittee,willcarryanarticleinitsThursdayissueexpressingconfidenceinthecountry'sfuture.

"Thereareamplereasonsforustohavehighexpectationsandconfidenceinthefuturedevelopmentofourcountry,"saysthearticle.

TheCPCandChinesepeoplewillkeeptheirwordsandfulfillestablishedgoals,itsays.

ThearticlequotesaJuly23rdspeechdeliveredbyCPCCentralCommitteeGeneral-SecretaryHuJintao,whosaidChinanowfacesbothunprecedentedopportunitiesandchallenges.

Thecountry'sabilitytoseizeopportunitiesandhandlechallengeswilldependon"ourmindset,theeffectivenessofourworkandhowwepushreformanddevelopmentforward,"thearticlesays.

China'seconomicdynamicshavenotchanged,thearticlesays,addingthateconomicrestructuringwillprovidemorechancesfordevelopment,whiledomesticdemandwillsustainlong-termgrowth.

ObserverssaidJapan'shard-linegesturesandrhetoricontheheatedislandsdisputehavenotledtoanymajorprogressinitsdialoguewithBeijing,andpublicityontheinternationalstagewilldragTokyodeeperintodeadlockeddiplomacywithitsneighbors.

Japan'sJijiPressNewsAgencysaidNodawilltalkabout"thesolutiontodisputesinterritoriallandandwaters"whenhemakesaspeechduringthetwo-dayAsiaEuropeMeeting,whichstartsonNov5inVientiane,theLaotiancapital.
