              Here’swhatthecandidateshadtosayonsomeoftheissues.Thefirstpointthatwashotlydebatedwasinresponsetoaquestionregardingthecurrenthomelessnessprobleminourcity.BellaPorter,whohasbeenactiveincitypoliticsforoveradecadeandiscurrentlyservingaspresidentofthecitycouncil,answeredthequestionfirst.

IfeelthatMr.Shmankie’ssolutiontothehomelessproblemistosweepitundertherug.Mr.Shmankiebelievesthatputtingthehomelessinjailwillsolvetheproblem.Ifwedon’t’seehomelesspeoplesleepingonourstreets,theproblemsdoesn’texist,right?

              Mr.Shmankieappearstobemoreconcernedwiththecomfortoftouristsandvisitorstoourcitythanwithactuallyhelpingsomeofourpoorestandneediestcitizens.Anightinjailwillnothelpahomelesspersongethisorherlifebacktogether.Weneedtoproviderealjobtrainingforthesepeopleinadditiontoaffordablehousingandmedicalservices.
