Thissummerholiday,IwenttoDalianwithmyfamily.Wegottherebyair.Dalianisaverybeautifulandmoderncity.Onthebus,wecouldseeallkindsofbuildingswhichweregreat.

Inthemorning,wegottothehotelwherewelived.Afterbreakfast,webegantoourtravel.FirstwetookthebustotheSeaPark.TherearesomanydifferentkindsoffishesthatIcouldn’tbelievemyeyes.Wealsosawtheshowofdolphins.Thenwehadlunchinarestaurant.TheseafoodwhichwasveryfamousinChinawasdelicious.

Afterlunchwewentswimming.Theseawasblueandbeachwasgolden.Weallenjoyedourselvesinthesea.Finallywewentbackthehotelwherewelived.Wehadahappyday.

Inthistrip,wealsowenttosomeplaceswhichwereinterestingandfamousinDalian,wentshoppingandsoon.

Severaldayslater,weleftDalian.Onourwayhome,wewereveryhappy.Thiswasthereasonwhywedidn’tfeeltired.Inall,wehadagoodholiday.

    Lastsummer,IwenttoBeidaiheformyholidaywithmyfamily.Wetookatrainbecausethewayisnotfar.Welivedinabighotelwherecouldseethesea.Westayedthereforthreedays.

    Thefirstday,wewentforawalkalongtheseaside,andthenwewentswimmingandtookalotofinterestingphotosthere.Thesecondday,wewenttoafamousmarketandboughtmanykeepsakes.Iwasgoingtobringthesekeepsakesformyfriends.Thelastday,wehadagoodpicnicontheseasidewiththenatives.Theyactedallkindsofprogrammesandmadeusfeelhappy.

    It’saverygoodjourney,andweallenjoyedourselvesonthosedays.IfIhaveanotherholiday,Iwillgothereagain.

Hubeiprovinceiscalled“Aprovincewiththousandsoflakes”.TheEastLakeinWuhan,muchbiggerthantheWestLakeinHangzhouisasbeautifulastheWestLake.ThebestwaytoexperiencetheEastLakeistotakeaboattour.Itmustbememorable.

WalkingalongtheChangjiangRiverisperfect.Whilewalkingonthebridge,youcangetaviewofthreepartsofWuhan.Itisreallyafeastfortheeyes.

HankouisWuhan’scommercialheart.Therearemanymodernskysckyscrapersthere.It’sashopper’sparadise.ThefamousbusinessstreetiscalledJianghanRoad.Yoncanenjoythelocalspecialfoodandexplorethelivelynightlife.

Despiteitssizeandmodernlook,Wuhanhasstillkeptitsoldtraditionsandculture.YellowGraneTowerhasalonghistory.Manypoetswroteprettypoemsforit.Sometemples,suchasGuiyuanTemple,representarchaicreligion.Ifyouareinterestedinhistory,HubeiMuseumisagoodchoice.Youcanlearnabouttheart,historyandcultureofcity.

ItstandsinAsiaandliesonthewestcoastoftheocean.Chinacovers9,600,000squarekilometers.Peopleofabout1.3billionliveandworktogetherontheland.56nationsmakeupthewholepopulationofChina.

Asisknowtoanybody,Chinahasalonghistoryof5000years,whichturnsoutrichcultureandspecialstyle.It’ssaidthateverycornerofChineseancienthistorywasfilledwithvarietiesofprominentartworks.Allthisinfluencespeopleherebygivingthemalotoffeelings,experiences,imagesandideasaboutlife.ButChinaalsohadatroubledpastsince1840.Shesawalot:

XinghaiRevolutionagainstfeudaldynastyin1911,theanti—Japanesewarduring1937—1945,thecivilwarbrokenoutin1946.Mostbigeventsbroughtpains,povertytoChinesepeople,buttheynevergavein.Oppositely,peoplelearntnottoweepwhenfacedthehardship.Theyweretaughttobestrongenoughtosolveeachproblem.It’sthetroubledtimethatcreatethevaluablecharacterforChinesepeople.Finallytheyweresucceedinrebuildinganddevelopingthemotherland.           

ChinawasfoundedasanindependentcountrynamedPeople’sRepublicofChinain1949.  Afterthat,itbegantoitsdoortotheworldandbuiltbridgesoffriendshipwithmanyothercountries.Sincethen,Chinasetitsstepsoffastdevelopmentonallthesides,especiallyinthefieldofscienceandtechnology.WecansaythatnewChinesehistoryisfilledwithgreatachievements.Toexploringspace,theCSAhasdevelopedthehighlysuccessfulLongMarchrocketseries.Atpresentthescientistsarepreparingforthenation’sfirstmannedspaceflightflyingtothemoon.Inthefieldofgeneticresearch,Chinaalsoplaysanimportantrole.In2000,ourscientistshaveannouncedthattheycompletedthetheirpartoftheinternationalhumangenomeproject.

    ColonelYangLiweiisanastronaut,andheisalsoamemberoftheAstronautTeamofthePeople＇sLiberationArmy.

    BornonJune21st,1965inateather＇sfamilyinSuizhongCountryofLiaoningProvince,YangLiweihadahappychildhoodwithhisparents.Notonlywasheagoodstudentinschool,buthealsohadagiftformath.Hewonalotofmathcompetitionprizes.Aftergraduatingfrommiddleschool,YangLiweicontinuedhisstudiesattheNo.8AviationCollegeoftheAirForceofthePeople＇sLiberationArmy.HestudiedveryhardandgraduatedwithaBachelor＇sdegree.Later,hebecameafighterpilot.

    Severalyearslater,becauseofhisexcellentmanifestaion,YangLiweiwasamong14personschosenfrom1,500pilotsforastronauttraining.YangLiweididverywellandpassedastronauttestsin1996and1997.ThenhebecameoneofthreeastronautsforChina＇sfirstmannedspaceflight.Afteraseriesofhardtrainingsandtests,YangLiweibecameChina＇sfirstastronautonOct15,2003atlast.

    BeingthefirstChinesetotravelinspace,YangLiweiisaheroofournationinourheartandmind.HedevoteshimselftoChinesespaceprogram.WheneverwereviewthemomentswhichYangLiweiwastravelinginShenzhou-5inspace,holdingournationalflaginhand,wewillbeproudofourcountryandthinkhighlyofYangLiwei.IbelievethatChinawillmakegreaterprogressinspaceflightinthefuture.
