Slowmusiccalmpeople.Balladsandsomeformsofclassicalmusicoftencreatapeacefulatmospherethatisgoodforrelaxingafterabusyday.Ifthemusicisslowedbelow50beatsperminute,itcancreatanatmosphereofsadness.Thiskindofslowmusiccanbefoundinmanytypesofmusic,suchasjazzandblues.Manypeoplelistentoslowmusic.Itsuitstheirmoodwhentheyarealoneatnight.
Fastermusic,suchasrock,heavymetalanddancemusic,tendstogiveusenergyandmakesusfeelfulloflife.Thistypeofmusicisoftenplayedatsportingeventstostirupthefansandtheteams.
Rock,popmusicandrapareplayedatparties.Theycanprovideenergytothegathering.Sincemostrock,pop,andrapsongsareeasytolistento,theyaresuitabeforparties.Rockmisicissometimesusedtoaccompanyphysiclabor.Itsheavyfasttempospeedsuptheheart,andonealmostworksintimetothemusic,makingtheworkmoreenjoyable.
Somepeoplethinkthatrockmusiccancauseroadaccidents.Driverscouldbecomeexcitedbythespeedofthemusicanddrivetoofast.Buttherearesomanythingstodistractadriver’sattentionthatitdosenotmakesensetoblamerockmusic.

Mozartwasafascinatingmusicianandcomposerwhosefamecontinuestogrowmorethantwocenturiesafterhisdeath.HewasborninSalzburg,Austria,in1756.Beforetheageoffour,hehadshowngreatmusicaltalent.Hisfatherthendecidedtolethimstarttakingharpsichordlessons.Theboy’sreputationasamusicaltalentgrewfast.Atfive,hewascomposingmusic.Formthattimeon,Mozartwasperformingnconcertsandwritingmusic.Byhisearlyteens,hehadmasteredthepiano,violinandharpsichord,andwaswritingsymphoniesandoperas.HisfirstmajoroperawasperformedinMilanin1770,whenhewasonlyfourteen.Atfifteen,MozartbecametheconductorforanorchestrainSalzburg.In1781,heleftforVienna,wherehewasingreatdemandasbothaperformerandacompositionteacher.Hisfirstoperawasasuccess.Butlifewasnoteasybecausehewasapoorbusinessman,andhisfinanceswerealwaysinabadstate.Hismusicfromthenextdecadewasnotverypopular,andheeventuallyfellbackonhisteachingjobsforaliving.In1788hestoppedperforminginpublic,preferringonlytocompose.Hediedin1791attheageofthirty-five.Althoughhelivedonlyashortlife,hecomposedover600works.
