OverallstructureofMIBandSIBinNRisalmostsimilartoLTEandotherlegacytechnologies.HoweverthereisamajordifferencerelatedtotheperiodicaltransmissionofSIBs.InLTEandotherlegacytechnologiestheSIBsarebroadcastedpriodicallyregardlessofwhetherUEwantsitornot.But,inNewRadio(NR)therearetwoversionsofSIBs.OneisbeingtransmittedperiodicallylikeLTEandotherisbeingtransmittedonlyon-Demandi.e.whenrequestedbyUE.

IndicatestheSubcarrierspacingforSIB1,Message2/4forinitialaccessandSystemInformation-messages.Itcanhaveavalues15and30kHzvalidforcarrierfrequencies<6GHz;Values60and120kHzareapplicableforcarrierfrequencies>6GHz
