Chinaisnegotiatingtoextenditsownhigh-speedrailwaynetworktoupto17countriesin10to15years,eventuallyreachingLondonandSingapore.
Chinahasproposedthreesuchprojects.ThefirstwouldpossiblyconnectKunmingwithSingaporeviaVietnamandMalaysia.AnothercouldstartinUrumqiandgothroughKazakhstanandUzbekistan,andpossiblytoGermany.ThethirdwouldstartinthenortheastandgonorththroughRussiaandthenintoWesternEurope.
