Noah’sArkisaimedatcollectingeggs,embryos,semenandDNAofendangeredanimalsandstoringtheminliquidnitrogen.Ifcertainspeciesshouldbecomeextinct,Kraemersaystherewouldbeenoughofthebasicbuildingblockstoreintroducethespeciesinthefuture.

Itisestimatedthatasmanyas2,000speciesofmammals,birdsandreptileswillbecomeextinctoverthenext100years.Thepanda.NativeonlytoChina,isindangerofbecomingextinctinthenext25years.
