Nowadaystrafficcongestion(拥挤,阻塞)isabigprobleminmostofourcities.Haveyougotanyideasaboutwhathasbroughtaboutthis?

Therearemanycausesforthisproblem,butthefollowingmaybethemostimportantones.

Thefirstcauseisthegreatincreaseinthenumberofprivatecars.Carstakeupmorespacebuttheycarryfewerpeople.Someprivatecardrivers,ignoringtrafficregulations,driveonlyforthesakeoftheirownconvenience,blockingthewayofotherpublictransportationvehicles.Thesecondcauseistheslowandinefficientconstructionandimprovementoftheroadsandstreets.Withalargepopulationandnumbersofautomobilesincreasing,someroadsstillremainunimproved,whichwillsurelyleadtoproblems.Thelastcauseistheinsufficient(不足的)managementofthetrafficsystemandthepeople'slackofawarenessoftrafficrules.Manypedestrians(行人)crossthestreetsevenwhenthetrafficlightsareagainstthem,whichisanobstacle(障碍)totheflowoftraffic.

Thenhowtosolvethisproblem?

Somesuggestlayingdownmoreroadstomakethetrafficlesscrowdedandspeeduptheflowoftraffic.Othersbelievethatweshouldopenupmorepublicbusroutes,sothatmorepeoplewilltakethepublicbusesinsteadoftravellingbycarandbicycle.
