Hernextworkwasanovelwrittenin1953called"MaudMartha"."MaudMartha"receivedlittlenoticewhenitwasfirstpublished.Butnowitisconsideredanimportantworkbysomecritics.Itsmainideasaboutthedifficultlifeofmanywomenarepopularamongfemalewriterstoday.
