（1）时间状语从句

（2）.地点状语从句
Wherewherever旨具体地点对，从句可用于主句之前或之后；表示抽象条件的含义时，从句需放在主句之前。

（3）.原因状语从句
Nowthat/because/since=nowthat/as/for
Becauseof不加从句/forfearthat----/seeingthat---/consideringthat---
1.Heisabsenttoday,becauseheisinhospital.
2.Since=nowthat表示大家都十分明了的事（在此加以强调）
Sinceheisunwillingtocomeiwon`tinvitehimagain.
3.As也表示大家十分清楚，但是比较since语气较弱。

4.For引导推测的非正式原因，只能用于主句之后。

（4）结果状语从句
引导词：
so---that---/such---that---/sothat---/too---to---

Jimissuchacleverboythathecouldworkouttheproblemveryquickly.
除结果状语从句外，too...to...（太……而不能……（肯定句中）、enoughto...（达到某种程度可以……（否定和肯定都可以））等不定式结构同样可以表示结果。

（5）.目的状语从句：

1．通过同义关系猜测词义
