n.“收费,费用,价钱”,charge是普通用语,泛指生活个方面所花费的“价钱、费用”,尤指某种服务的费用。
charge构成的短语:

freeofcharge免费的,免除了……的费用(=forfree)
inchargeof“负责……,管理……”,表示主动意义,of的宾语是所管理的事物。

asif/asthough用在省略句中:
asif之后除了连接从句外,还可接名词、动词不定式、形容词(短语)、介词短语和分词。
这时,也可把其看作是从句中省略了与主句中相同的主语和从句中的谓语动词be而得来的。
