教学简介:
本课是外研社《新标准英语》(三年级起始用)第七册第四模块第二单元的内容。
主要目标是让学生学习、了解不同的中外节日,谈论在不同节日人们做什么等,让学生了解不同节日的风俗,培养学生的跨文化意识。
本单元是对第一单元内容的拓展。
使学生能运用
“What’s your favourite festival?
”这一句型询问他人喜欢的节日;能运用“My favourite festival is---.”来表达自己最喜欢的节日。
教学目标:
知识目标:
1.能听、说、读、写单词festival、moon cake、race、lantern,能听、说、读Spring Festival、Lantern Festival、Dragon Boat Festival、Mid-Autumn Festival 4个中国节日。
2.能正确使用“What’s your favorite festival?
My favorite festival is -------.”询问别人喜爱的节日。
3.在老师的提示下,能用简单的句子如“We see/ eat / have/ can „”对每个节日所开展的传统活动进行描述。
能力目标:
1. 能用“My favorite festival is -------.Because„交流自己对节日的喜好;
2. 介绍中西方主要节日;
3 以小组为单位,对他人所喜爱的节日和原因进行采访和记录,并把学到的知识应用到实际交际中。
情感目标:
培养学生热爱和宣传中国文化,增强世界意识和跨文化交流的能力。

教学评价方式:
以在各项活动中学生所获得的月饼图片数量多少为主,辅之以教师行为和语言上的评价。

由单词race引出Dragon Boat Race.用波浪式游戏学习该节日)
2.全班复习刚刚学习的单词和节日
3.Show some pictures about Zongzi, jiaozi , tangyuan, nian’gao, dragon boat, moon cake and so on.(把这些图片也作为本课评价图片)

通过学生熟悉的食物图片引起学生的情趣,并为下面的自由谈论和填空做铺垫,让学生有话可说,培养他们实际应用的能力。
同时,把这些图片作为评价手段也为最后一个环节的拓展所需要的道具做好准备。

人们庆幸过了“年关”,敲锣打鼓,互称“恭喜”,从此有了“过年”。
