1INTRODUCTION

ThisErectionManualisintendedtogiveguidancefortheassembly-and-erectionandstarting-and-adjustmentworkofthesynchronousturbogeneratorofTBB-1000-2У3typeatthenuclearpowerplant.

TheManualgivestheprincipaltechnicalcharacteristicsoftheturbogenerator,describesitsdesignandrequirementsonerection.Therequirementslaiddownhereinshallbestrictlyobserved.

TheManualalsogivessometechnologicalrecommendationsontheproceduresoferectionandstarting-and-adjustmentwork.TheproceduresindetailaredevelopedbytheErectionOrganizationsonthebasisofthisManualandthesetoftechnicaldocumentssuppliedtogetherwiththeturbogenerator.

Thedataontheexcitationsystem,theexciter,hydrogen-andwater-coolingsystemsandthesystemofthermalcontrolaswellasrequirementsontheirerectionaregiveninthetechnicaldocumentsforthesesystems,whichareincludedinthesetofservicedocuments.

Anintegralpartofthetechnicaldocumentsaretheassembly-and-erectionand

starting-and-adjustmentworklogbookswheretothedataobtainedduringtheturbogeneratorassembly,erection,startupandtestsarerecorded.

2PURPOSE

Thethree-phasesynchronousturbogeneratorofТВВ-1000-2У3type(hereinafterreferredtoas"thegenerator")isdesignedtoproduceelectricenergyunderthecontinuousoperatingconditionsS1asperGOST183-74(IEC-34-1),whenbeingdirectlycoupledtothesteamturbineandinstalledindoorsatnuclearpowerplants.

ThegeneratorismanufacturedinclimatictypeУ,category3asperGOST15150-69andGOST15543-70tooperate:

1)atanaltitudeofnomorethan1000mabovesealevel;

2)atanambientairtemperaturefromplus5°Ctoplus35°C.

Theenvironmentisexplosion-proofanddoesnotcontainanydustinconcentrationsreducingthegeneratorparameterswithintheimpermissiblelimits.

ThedustcontentintheNPPpowerhousehallshallnotexceed4mg/m3.

Theaverageservicelifeofthegeneratorisforty(40)yearsprovidedallthetermsandscopeofthescheduledinspectionsandrepairsareobserved.

4GENERALDESCRIPTIONOFGENERATORDESIGN

ANDOPERATION

Thegeneratorisanon-salient-polesynchronouselectricalmachine.Itconsistsofastationarypart(stator)whichincludesacoreandawindingconnectedtotheexternalpowersystemandarotatingpart(rotor)whichcarriesafieldwindingsuppliedwithrectifiedcurrent.

Themechanicalenergytransmittedfromtheturbineshafttothegeneratorrotorshaftisconvertedintoelectricalenergyaccordingtotheelectromagneticprinciple:

thedirectcurrentflowingthroughtherotorwindingproducesamagneticfluxwhichinducestheelectromotiveforceandelectriccurrentwithafrequencyof50Hzinthestatorwinding.

Thelossesinthestatorandrotorwindings,magneticcircuits(statorcoreandrotorshaft)aswellasthemechanicallossescausedbytherotorrotationinthegasmedium(windagelosses)andfrictioninthebearingsandshaftsealsareremovedinsidethegeneratorwithdistillatedwater(fromthestatorwinding),withhydrogen(fromtherotorwindingandstatorcore)andwithoil(fromthebearingsandshaftseals).Allthelossesareremovedintotheexternalenvironmentwithservicewaterintheheatexchangersandgascoolers.

GeneratorprotectiondegreeisIP55accordingtoIEC-34-5.

Thegas-tightstatorcasingconsistsofthreeparts:

onemediumandtwoendparts.Themediumpartplacesthestatorcoreandwinding,theendpartsaredesignedfortheverticalgascoolers,statorwindingterminalsandwatersupplypipelinesofthestatorwindingwatercoolingsystem,andelectricheaters.

Thestatorendsareclosedbyexternalshieldswheretotheshaftoilsealsarefastened.

Allthreepartsareresteduponthefoundationwiththehelpofsupportingliftingbrackets,whichareremovedduringtransportation.

Thestatorwindingisofathree-phasetypewithtwoparallelbranches,thewindingsaredouble-starconnected.

ThestatorandrotorwindinginsulationisofclassF,thepermissiblehighesttemperatureofthegeneratoractiveparts—classB.

Thestatorwindingterminalsarelocatedatthebottom(line)andatthetop(neutral)ofthestatorendpartsontheexciterside.

Thesupportbearingontheexcitersideisoutboardofapedestaltype,thesupportbearingontheturbinesideisincludedintheturbineset.

Theshaftoilsealsareofacirculartype.

Thedistillateinthestatorwindingcirculatesunderapressureproducedbythepumpsanditiscooledintheheatexchangersinstalledoutsidethegenerator.

Thecoolinghydrogencirculatesinthegeneratorundertheactionoffansmountedontherotorshaftanditiscooledbythegascoolersbuiltintothestatorcasing.

Thecoolingwatercirculatesinthegascoolersandheatexchangerswiththehelpofthepumpslocatedoutsidethegenerator.

Theoilsupplyofthegeneratorandexcitersupportbearingsiscarriedoutfromtheturbineoilsystem.

Theoilsupplyofthegeneratorshaftsealsiscarriedoutfromtheindependentsystem.

Thegeneratorisexcitedfromabrushlessexcitercoupledwiththegeneratorshaftandconsistingofathree-phaseinverted-typesynchronousgenerator.Thealternatingcurrentisrectifiedwiththehelpofasetofrotatingsemi-conductingrectifiers—diodes.

5GENERATORCOMPONENTS

Theturbogeneratoriscomposedofthefollowingunits:

1)generatorconsistingofthefollowingcomponents:

—statorandshields;

—terminalswithcurrenttransformersandvoltagetransformersintheneutralandflexiblecompensatorsoflinearterminals;

—rotor

—gascoolers;

—supportingbearing;

—shaftseals;

—foundationplates;

2)exciter;

3)equipmentandinstrumentationofthegeneratorhydrogencoolingsystem;

4)equipmentandinstrumentationofthegeneratorstatorwindingwatercoolingsystem;

5)equipmentandinstrumentationofthegeneratorshaftsealsoilsupplysystem;

6)equipmentandinstrumentationofthegeneratorexcitationsystem;

7systemoftechnologicalcontrolanddiagnostics;

Note—Theexternalpipelines,externalcablecouplings,embeddedpartsforthegeneratorandexciterfoundationplates,enclosuresforlineterminalsandcurrentsupplyleads,aswellascurrentsupplyleadsthemselvesarenotincludedintheturbogeneratorManufacturer’sscopeofsupply.

6ERECTIONDEVICES,TOOLSANDACCESSORIES

Asetofdevices,special-purposetoolsandaccessories(erectionfixtures)issuppliedtothenuclearpowerplanttogetherwiththefirstgenerator.

Thissetisintendedforperformingvariousassemblyanddisassemblyoperationsonthegeneratoranditscomponentsduringerectionanddifferentrepairs.

Thesetconsistsof:

1)deviceforinsertion/removaloftherotorinto/fromthestator,whichincludestheinternalandexternalbogies,liningsheet,devicefortherotorsuspension,safetypartsandmaterials;

2)deviceforfitting-onand
