(1)例句中都运用了虚拟语气。

(2)例句①②中,从句是if引导的非真实条件句,表示对过去事实的一种假设;例句③中,从句是省略if的非真实条件句,表示对将来情况的假设,将should提前,形成部分倒装语序。

一、虚拟语气在主语从句、表语从句和同位语从句中的用法

名师点津

虚拟语气答题三步骤:

(1)分析句子结构,明确是何种从句。

(2)明确各种从句和主句的谓语动词的发生时间。

(3)明确在虚拟语气中三个时间(过去、现在、将来)所对应的从句谓语与主句谓语动词的形式。

二、虚拟语气在其他一些句型中的用法

1.在ifonly引导的从句中,谓语动词要用虚拟语气,用来表达愿望。

具体见下表。

①IfonlyIhadknownhowaccuratehispredictionswouldbe,I'dhavetapedwhathesaid.

要是我当时知道他预测的如此准确就好了,我会把他说的话录下来。

②Ifonlyitwouldraintomorrow.

要是明天下雨该多好。

名师点津

ifonly主要用在虚拟语气中,用以表达强烈的愿望或非真实条件,意为“但愿”“要是……该多好啊”等。

2.“It's(high)timethat...”从句中的虚拟语气

“It's(high)timethat...”从句中,谓语动词可以使用动词的过去式,也可使用“should+动词原形”,表示“早该……了”,其中should不可以省略。

是你改过自新的时候了。

3.其他一些表示祝愿的句型用虚拟语气(多用动词原形)
