Hello,everybody.TodayI’dliketosharewithyousomethingaboutJohnAudubon.JohnwasbornonApril26th,1785.HespentmuchofhischildhoodinFrance,wherehespentmanyhourseachdayoutdoorspaintingpictures.Attheageof18,hemovedtotheUnitedStates.Well,actually,JohnbeganhislifeintheUSasabusinessman.However,insteadoftakingcareofhisbusiness,Johnwasoftenoffexploringthenature.Atfirst,Johnspenthistimehuntingforfun.Thenhefoundthattheanimalsaroundwereverybeautiful,andheparticularlyenjoyedobservingthebirdshesaw.Hebeganstudyingthem,tryingtolearnthedifferencesbetweenthebirdsandnoticingtheirdifferentbehaviors.Therefore,hepaintedthebirdsheobservedalot.In1819,Johnrealizedthathedidn’thaveenoughmoneytopayhisbills.Hewasveryupsetthathecouldn’tearnenoughmoneytosupporthisfamily,sohespenttimeimprovinghispaintingskillsandbegantosellhispaintings.Hediscoveredthathecouldearnsomemoneywhiledoingsomethinghereallyenjoyed.We’reluckynowtohavesomanypaintingsofAmericanbirdsbyJohnAudubon.
