Itturnsoutthatfeathersarequiteawondermaterial.“Feathersareinsulatingduetotheirstructure,whicharehollow(空的)fibres,”saysRobinson.Extraairinthefibresmeanslessheattransfer(转移).“Whathasbeensurprisingishowwellthematerialhasperformed,andwehopetocontinuetomakeitbetterandbetter.”ThecurrentformofAeropowder’smateriallooksmuchmorelikeaflattenedbrickoffeathers.It’sflexibleandlight.
