PlotSummary

Thisisthestoryofanintelligentandgentle9yearoldboywholivesinPhiladelphia,andwhohappenstoseeghosts.Onedayhetellshispsychologistthat“Iseedeadpeople.Theywantmetodothingsforthem.”Heseemstobetellingthetruth.Itisalsothestoryofthatpsychologist,Dr.MalcolmCrowe,ahighlyintelligentandaccomplishedprofessionalwhoagreestotryandhelpCole,justafewmonthsafterbeingshotinthestomachbyonehisformerpatients!

Eversincethattragicincident,Malcolmandhiswifeseemedtobegrowingapart,andthusMalcolmmustworkwithColewhiletryingtorepairhisownpersonallife.

Overtime,MalcolmlearnsofCole’sapparentabilitytocommunicatewiththedead,butseemsunsureofhowtohelpthechild.Inthemeantime,Cole’smotherbecomesmorefrustratedandscared,especiallywhensomeofhisclassmatesseemtobephysicallyabusinghim.However,Colehimselfremainsstrong,andintheend,itseemsthathewilllearntohelpMalcolm
