Startingwithhersecondself-publishednovel,shebeganinvestingmoretimeinmarketingandbuildingheraudience.Herinvestmentpaidoff.Since2014,Laqueur,now49,hasself-publishedsixnovels,whichcollectivelyhavehundredsofratingsandreviewsonGoodreads.Her2016novelAnExaltationofLarksstoletheshowatthe25thAnnualWriter’sDigestSelf-PublishedBookAwards,toppingmorethan2,300entriestowinthegrandprize.
