 On Christmas Eve,wespenttheday removinggarbageaspart of abeautificationprojectintheLowerNinthWard,whichwas most heavilydamagedbyHurricaneKatrina.

On Christmas Day,we worked at acenter for homeless people. The people reallyappreciatedourwork,and wefelt likewehad made Christmas a little morespecial forthem.Myfavoriteprojectwashelpingatananimalrescuecenter.Wewalkedtheanimals,cleanedtheirplaces,andfedthem.Sixthousand dogsandcats,separatedfromtheirowners,wererescuedbythatshelterafterthehurricane.
