Spidermonkeyshugeachotherandwraptheirtailsaroundeachother.Theyareveryintelligentandhavestrongmemories.Theywerenamedspidermonkeysbecausetheylooklikespidersastheyhangupsidedownfromtheirtailswitharmsandlegsswinging.Theirgenus(属)nameisAteles,whichmeans“imperfect”.Thisreferstothefactthattheydon’thavethumbs.
